This study examines the self-assembly structures at a nano level by using the complementarity feature of DNA. By molecular biology techniques, we designed the two-dimensional DNA nano network structure, which is carried in mesh formed by the PCR reaction that uses branched DNA primers. The resulting DNA nano networks were able to form mesh structures with various sizes depending on template for PCR. These PCR-produced-branched DNAs possessing extremely high molecular weights are challenged to form novel DNA-based structures on various surfaces containing different physicochemical properties. In the future work, we aim to build up supramolecular structures that could be used as controllable functional DNA tecton by adding or transforming the functional groups.
