Various types of holography and method of the high-technology 3D imaging system producing will be introduced. Art and science intercommunication begun since the Industrial Revolution in 19C. Laser 3D imaging system called holography is a high-technology imaging system that practically has being shown the reconstruction images of a real subject since the laser had developed in 1960's. The 3D imaging system development is increasingly important for wide field of practical application such as medical science, education, military engineering, industrial/science, imaging system, entertainment, common life, culture, fiber optics in communication, laser fusion and for expending expression way for modern artists. It can be possible to carry 2D images out to 3D images. The presentation consists of (1) introduction of 3D imaging system, (2) artistic application and expression, (3) theory of holography and (4) activities and trends of holographic artist. This overview will provide those who wish to produce and study holography with valuable information.
