The synthesis of semiconductor quasi-one dimensional nanostructures is regarded as interesting field for their unique property. These structures are expected to show novel property due to their decreased size, surface to volume ratio, and morphologies. The key factor to improve property of semiconductor is doping. Recently, electrical, optical, and magnetic property of doped one-dimensional nanostructures was reported. ZnS is an important Ⅱ-Ⅵ semiconductor material having band-gap of 3.7 eV and widely studied for its applications. We successfully synthesized nanostructures of ZnS by chemical vapor transport and condensation (CVTC) method. The morphology is determined by small change of conditions. And (Mn, Fe) doped ZnS nanostructures, only Mn doped and Fe doped ZnS nanowire was synthesized. The doped ZnS nanostructures show unique magnetic property.
