To reduce the concentration of CO2 in the air, which is considered as a main cause of greenhouse effect and global warming, industrial science has applied various methods of cutting the CO2 emission to their systems and also has searched for other new ways recently. There has been an experimental study where the reaction between CO2 and Hydrazine results in solids, but the mechanisms were still unknown.
In this study, we discovered several mechanisms which take place differently in gas phase or in solution and found that water molecules have a very important role to the mechanisms. Related calculations were performed to know how the energies in water catalysis and specific solvent effect change along the reaction coordinates.
We are going to present you what we achieved as conclusions from all of those data including the mechanism which is the most possible way in the binding reaction between Hydrazine and CO2.
