Commonly, chemotherapy using drug as anticancer agent works on active cells which is growing and dividing into much more cells. active cells include both Cancerous and healthy cells. So, when the drug is uptake to the healthy cell, side effects such as vomiting and hair loss can be happen. Recently, nanoparticles (NPs) are the one of the most attractive drug delivery due to their enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effect and it can minimize undesirable side effects. In this present work, nanocomposites were modified using Citric acid and Hydrazine. As this NPs be labeled with 68Ga, it can have dual applications as diagnostic imaging agent in positron emission tomography (PET) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Also, Doxorubicin(DOX) as antineoplastic agent was loaded to the NPs for treatment of cancer. Thus 68Ga-Hydrizain-Citric acid-Fe3O4 NPs(68GaHFCNP) could exhibit synergic feature such as the magnetic behavior and radio activity for diagnosis and cytotoxicity for treatment.
