In the field of doping control, as the number of prohibited substances is increasing recently, it requests a method can analyze multiple targets simultaneously with a time-saving preparation procedure. Direct injection of diluted urine without any extraction or concentration steps (dilute-and-shoot) has developed to analyze various substances and their metabolites but its matrix effect and relatively low sensitivity would be obstacles for a universal technique in drug analysis. In this study, a simple and fast method is presented that can minimize matrix effect from diluted urine. Its high resolution (~70,000) and high mass accuracy (< 1 ppm) helped to obtain MS/MS spectra that showed clearly separated ion peaks have below 0.1 m/z difference from matrix. Furthermore, it could be identified the presence of cannabinoid metabolites by accurate m/z values of molecular ions from without any specific fragment ions. We validated this assay for qualitative purposes in 22 narcotics, 6 cannabinoids and glycerol below the minimum required performance levels (MRPLs) and quantitation of glycerol was demonstrated by spiking glycerol isotope as an internal standard.
