Multimetallic metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have attracted much attention because of a synergistic effect between multiple active sites in the field of gas sorption and catalysis. Herein, we synthesized a multimetallic Zn0.5/Mg0.5/Mn0.5/Co0.5(dobpdc) (H4dobpdc= 4,4'-Dihydroxy-(1,1'-biphenyl)-3,3'-dicarboxylic acid) using a mechanochemical strategy. In particular, the multimetallic Zn0.5/Mg0.5/Mn0.5/Co0.5(dobpdc) has a controlled 1:1:1:1 stoichiometric composition of metal nodes, which would not be obtained by the conventional reaction of the corresponding metal salts. The multimetallic Zn0.5/Mg0.5/Mn0.5/Co0.5(dobpdc) was characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, TEM-EDS, and ICP-AES. Detailed synthetic scheme and characterization will be presented in the poster.
