The optical and electrical properties of nanoparticles(NPs) have been extensively studied for their use in electronics, sensors and photonics. Recently, one of the most active areas of research in nanoscience is the development of novel nanomaterial structures such as nanohelices (NHs), nanosheets (NSs), and hollow nanocrystals (NCs), which open up the possibility of a new generation of advanced materials. Methods for synthesizing nanocrystals include aqueous and organometallic synthesis. The method of synthesizing with aqueous synthesis is more convenient than other synthetic methods, and is highly reproducible and not dangerous. In addition, the method of synthesizing with aqueous synthesis is stable optically and can be applied in many fields, but it is necessary to find a suitable stabilizers. We synthesized photostable thiol-capped CdTe nanocrystals (NCs) via chemical reaction using thioglycolic acid(TGA), thioglycerol(TGC), 2-Mercaptoethanol(ME) and L-cysteine(L-C) as stabilizers. As a result, it was confirmed that TGA and L-C kept the nanocrystals in a stable state, and that the nanocrystals were synthesized in a stable wavelength band through photoluminescence (PL). Analysis equipment was used Photoluminescence (PL), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM). This was supported by Korea National University of Transportation in 2020.
