Microwave technology is well-known for inorganic or organic synthesis methods. It has many merits such as solvent-free, shorter reaction times and leads to less by-product and/or decomposition products.
Because that 2-Chloromethyl-4,5-dichloropyridazin-3(2H)-one has the nucleophilic three reaction site, its reactivity may depend on the bases, the solvents and the nucleophiles. Therefore, we investigated on the regiochemistry of the reaction of 2-chloromethyl-4,5-dichloropyridazin-3(2H)-one with phenol derivatives in the presence of bases ,organic solvents and microwave irradiation.
In this poster, we report to results of reaction of 2-chloromethyl- 4,5-dichloropyridazin-3(2H)-one with phenol derivatives in the presence of base under microwave irradiation.
