The field of organic electronics has grown rapidly in the past years. New semiconductors are required, which can be solution processed, possess high mobility and current modulation, and are stable in ambient conditions. Polymerizable conjugated molecules were designed and synthesized. Star-shaped oligomers have also been reported. However, these oligomers can not polymerize. In this study, we synthesized new star-shaped conjugated dendrimers bearing photopolymerizable arms. The solubility of dendrimers is very good. The patterning was carried out by photopolymerization of the reactive end group, creating a crosslinked network. Their properties were characterized and discussed in detail.
