In the research area of organic field-effect transistor (OFET). it make higher mobility to align π-stacks along the source-drain direction. So the self assembly of the conjugated molecules with align two dimensional order is required. However, conventional conjugated molecules do not tend to adopt this type of molecular arrangement; thereby it is desirable to introduce the tendency at the stage of molecule design. In order to develop highly crystalline amphiphilic conjugated molecules, we designed a unsymmetrically substituted D-A-D molecule with hydrophobic alkyl side-chains and carboxylic acid group of pyridazine and 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene(EDOT) as donor. The desired D-A-D molecules were synthesized by stille coupling reactions of 3.6-dibromopyridazine with two differcently substituted EDOT stannanes.
