| Abstract |
New Pd(II) azido complexes containing (R or S)-BINAP (2,2’-bis(diphenylphosphino)-1,1’-binaphthyl) were prepared from reactions of the corsponding (BINAP)PdCl2 with excess NaN3. Full characterization of the obtained products by IR, NMR, and elemental analyses including X-ray crystallography were carried out. Also, we examined chemical treatments of cis-[Pd(R-BINAP)(N3)2] with organic isothiocyanates (R-N=C=S) and isocyanides(CN-R). Experimental detail will be presented. |
