Abstract |
There is heavy metal contamination is growing as a harmful and hazardous problem on drinking water. Poly(1,3-diphenylurea) were synthesized by schiff-base reaction in DMSO solution and have porosity ranging hierarchically from 0.5~10nm. We expected this polymer can be used for heavy metal removal adsorbent via thiol and carbon disulfide functionalization. In this study, the poly(1,3- diphenylene) will be investigated by BET, ICP-OES, Elemental Analysis, SEM, EDAX for evaluating of heavy metal removal. |
