Abstract |
The photo-efficiency and color uniformity of light-emitting diode (LED) with phosphor was enhanced by adding SiO2 particles. The SiO2 particles was employed for the light-scattering effect in encapsulant. To improve the dispersion stability and to prevent the agglomeration of SiO2 particles, the surface property of SiO2 was controlled by using the various silanes, which have different main carbon chain length. After SiO2 surface modification, The photo-performance of LED PKG with modified SiO2 particles could be successfully enhanced. |
