Subject Advanced Electrode Materials from Organic-Inorganic Hybrids: Insights into Structure-Property Relationship in Light Energy Conversion Applications
Authors Jin Ho Bang
Department of Bionano Technology and Department of Chemical and Molecular Engineering, Hanyang University, Korea
Abstract Organic-inorganic hybrid materials have served as excellent resources for the preparation of various nanostructured materials that cannot otherwise be produced by conventional precursors. The unique structural properties of the nanostructured materials inherited from their parent materials offer new physical properties that can be potentially useful for light energy conversion applications. A couple of examples for this new opportunity in materials chemistry are presented, and in particular new insights revealed by the investigation on the structure-property relationship are discussed.
