Abstract Chmical agent gas detection is technology than detects and identifies infrared radiant energy changing when passing through from background to chemical clouds and thus depends on background. therefore this study describes about the spectrum of background(flight, tree, building, vehicle) spectrum and simulant gas spectrum was measured. through this result to how background spectrum was influenced to chemical gas detection understanding ans get to reliability data. also the simulant gas spectrum and background data can be used to optimized to chemical agent gas detection ability and detection algorithm.
