| Abstract |
Pyrrolo lactones were reported to have effect on pain-reliving. It can be synthesized using Maillard reaction between various substituted amino acids and different reducing sugars. There are several reported ways to synthesize pyrrolo lactone compounds by 7~8 steps. We developed a one-pot synthesizing strategy for pyrrolo lactone compounds using amino acids and oxalic acid in DMSO at 90 oC
