Abstract |
Due to the ever increasing consumption of fossil fuels, clean energy source such as hydrogen is being targeted as sustainable future energy. Among several means to hydrogen production, water electrolysis is considered environment-friendly and viable, however, the development of efficient, non-noble metal-based catalysts is still in need to realize hydrogen production by water electrolysis in commercial scale. Herein, we report a facile one-pot synthesis route to Au@Co nanocrystals and their derivatives by sulfidation and phosphidation methods for water electrolysis. |
