| Abstract |
Palladium complexes containing various NHC(N-heterocyclic carbene) ligands have been successfully synthesized by the reaction with diketonates. Treatments of Pd(acac)2 with NHC salt such as IPr·HCl, IMes·HCl resulted in [Pd(acac)(NHC)Cl] complexes and these complexes are characterized by NMR and elemental anaylsis. Moreover, these palladium complexes showed moderate to good catalytic activities towards functional norbornene polymerization. |
