Abstract |
Currently, LiFePO4 has attracted attention as a cathode material for lithium ion batteries because of its low cost, environmental compatibility, excellent safety and long life. However, electronical conductivity and lithium ion diffusion are still lower than commercial lithium ion battery and further development is needed.
In this study, we observed the changes on LiFePO4 cathode surface in real time during charging and discharging processes of the battery by using Raman spectroscopy. To better understand the cathode surface reaction of lithium ion batteries, 2D correlation spectroscopy (2D-COS) was applied to in-situ Raman spectroscopy. In this presentation, more informations of our work will be presented. |
