Abstract |
Tuning the lattice strain of hetero structure is important role to enhance the electro-catalytic activity. In previous study, our group reported the hetero structure of Au-CuO nanocomposite was determined by controlling annealing temperature and Cu contents. To identify the difference of lattice strain effects, Au-CuO that has different shell thickness and different structure was synthesized by controlling Cu contents. Also, we confirmed the lattice strain effects by the electro-catalytic activity. To compare the electro-catalytic activity of Au-CuO nanocomposite, oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) was conducted using Au@CuO, Au/CuO, Au and bulk CuO. Especially, we synthesized Au@CuO series that have different shell thickness to confirm the comparing of lattice strain among them. Herein, we report engineering control of the lattice strain in hetero structure of Au-CuO nanocomposite and check the electro-catalytic activity.
