| Abstract |
Aryl hydrocarbon n receptor (AhR), the family of basic-helix/loop/helix per-Arnt-sim (bHLH/PAS), is transcription factor to be activated by ligands. AhR is known to bind with xenobiotics such as 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin(TCDD) and benzo[a]pyrene. Due to AhR has a variety of target genes that the ligand can bind, it can be the target for treatment of various human diseases. Also, an AhR antagonist stimulated the expansion of human hematopoietic stem cells ex vivo. In this KCS meeting, identification of new AhR antagonists in zebrafish model will be presented.
