Abstract |
We prepared Mg2(m-dobdc) (m-dobdc4- = 4,6-dioxido-1,3-dibenzenedicarboxylate), featuring exposed metal cation sites with a higher apparent charge density. To improve moisture resistance and hydrophobicity, hydrophobic polymer PDMS(polydimethylsiloxane) was coated to MOF. The properties of compounds were analyzed by various techniques including infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, powder X-ray diffraction, gas sorption and water contact angle. Detailed synthetic scheme and several properties will be given in the presentation. |
