Abstract |
The detection of nitroaromatics is of great indispensable experimentation in the sense of security, health and environment issues. Fluorescence quenching is one of the fascinating approaches to recognize hazardous materials because of its intriguing advantages such as inherent sensitivity, high selectivity and easy handling. Hierarchically porous polymers combining micropores (<2 nm) within a mesoporous framework (2- 50 nm) are particularly attractive to achieve high surface area with an enhanced diffusion of analytes into the materials leading to fast and sensitive detection. The present investigation mainly focuses on the synthesis of fluorescent hierarchically porous polymers containing a π-election rich chromophore in the robustly cross-linked porous framework. Such material will pave a new direction in the design of the precise shape of sensor materials towards an excellent operable system. |
