Abstract |
We have synthesized and characterized a series of new cadmium(II), cobalt(II), copper(II) and zinc(II) complexes by the reaction of ligand [IPMA] where IPMA is 4-isopropyl-N,N-bis((3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methyl)benzenamine with [CoCl2·6H2O], [CuCl2·2H2O], [ZnCl2], and [CdBr2·4H2O], respectively. All complexes were characterized by IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, elemental analyzer. The molecular structures of these complexes were characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction. The catalytic properties of these complexes toward the polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) in the presence of modified methylaluminoxane (MMAO) were investigated at 60℃. |
