Abstract |
Although ammonia is widely known to be an important chemical in industry and medicine as an ingredient, it is very harmful gas to human health when exposed even at low concentrations. For its effective and immediate removal, we simply prepared porous organic polymers via microwave-assisted reaction and modified them to acidic functionalized polymers to strongly interact ammonia. The properties of compounds were characterized using variety of techniques which include infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, 13C Solid state nuclear magnetic resonance, and gas sorption. Detailed contents will be discussed in the presentation. |
