Abstract |
We synthesized four kinds regioregular copolymers, PBDT-TQO(P), PBDT-TQO(T), PBDT-TIQO(P) and PBDT-TIQO(T), composed of thienoisoquinolinone (TIQO) and thienoquinolinone (TQO) as electron accepting components for organic solar cells. Both synthesized copolymers showed wide optical bandgap (<2.10 eV) with low-lying highest occupied molecular energy level. Among them, absorption region of the polymers based on TIQO covered relatively long region due to their intra charge transfer difference between TQO and TIQO. And also, PBDT-TQO(P) and PBDT-TIQO(P) films exhibited preferential face-on orientation with high crystal coherence length compared to those of PBDT-TQO and PBDT-TIQO. Non-fullerene based OSC devices were fabricated using synthesized polymer as donor and IT-4F as non-fullerene acceptor. The devices of PBDT-biTIQO(P):IT-4F exhibited the best PCE of 8.35 % with enhanced short-circuit current and fill factor. |
