The charge transport (CT) layer is critical for conveying electrons from the aluminum core of the photoconductor drum to the surface. Advanced formulations of polymerizable CT monomers have enabled new generations of commercial laser printers that are faster and last longer without maintenance. This talk will discuss some of the breakthroughs that have been recently developed in the United States and Asia.
