The Department of Chemistry at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) invites applications for tenure-track or tenured positions at all professor levels beginning in the spring of 2019. We seek outstanding candidates in all areas of chemical science, but are particularly interested in applicants with research focus in organic chemistry, physical chemistry, and biochemistry. Exceptional candidates with interests in other areas including multidisciplinary approaches and new emerging subdisciplines are also encouraged to apply.

Candidates must have a doctorate in chemistry or a related science and some postdoctoral experience is preferred. Candidates will be expected to establish a creative, vigorous and independent research program, and excel in teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels. The Chemistry Department at KAIST values teamwork, communication and collaboration among its faculty.
