Lithium-ion secondary batteries have been extensively used to for portable energy devices such as electronic vehicles, computers, mobile phones and so on, etc and their efficiency can be significantly increased by using efficient carbon materials such as ordered mesoporous carbon that has high specific surface area, large pore volume and uniform narrow pore size distribution as an anode electrode. To achieve the increasement of energy storage and power density in response to coming future energy crisis, great effort has been paid to find new effective materials for better efficiency and to investigate relationship between properties and structures of the new efficient materials. In this work, it is demonstrated that charge/discahrge capacity, voltage porfile and cyclic stability depend on mesopore channel length as well as surface area and pore volume of ordered mesoporous CMK-3 with rodlike morphology in a wide range of length scale (0.4-4.5mm in length) prepared with different acid concentration (1.0 ~ 3.0 M) was prepared for a lithium battery anode material using a SBA-15 template.
