Nitrogen containing heterocycles, such as pyrroles, indoles and carbazoles have attracted considerable attention due to their numerous applications in pharmaceutical and synthetic chemistry. Especially, a series of tropanes showed anticonvulsant activity against pentylene-tetrazol-induced convulsions in mice and antiarrhythmic activity in rabbit previously treated with ouabain. As a part of a research program related to the synthetic study of pharmacologically interesting tropane compounds and nitrogen containing heterocycles, we now report a convenient one-pot synthesis of tropane compounds and nitrogen containing heterocycles in the reaction of phosphinicamide (or phosphoramiate) with 2,5-dimethoxytetrahydro-furan, and 1,3-actonedicarboxylicacid at 0℃ (or reflux). And in order to obtain bioactive new compounds, we tried reaction of amino acid(aspartic acid, glycine, glutamic acid, and lysine), 2,5-dimethoxy-tetrahydrofuran, and 1,3-acetonedicarboxylic acid.
