In many case, secondary batteries need stable electrolyte to ions transfer between anode and cathode. To stable ions transfer in electrolyte, electrolyte have to contained additives which help ions transfer during charging and discharging state therefore, we have to consider suitable additives in electrolyte kinds. Zinc-Air battery use strong alkali solution by electrolyte. Through alkali electrolyte we can expect high conductivity and stable OH- ion transfer from O2 on catalyst layer. Therefore, if we add additive to electrolyte, additive have to match with alkali solution. As a result, we find new additive of zinc-air secondary battery. It is Tetra Propyl Ammonium Hydroxide(TPAH). Tetra Propyl Ammonium Hydroxide was used by additives in electrolyte of zinc-air secondary battery as electrolyte stabilizer. Generally Metal-Air batteries use alkali electrolyte to higher conductivity than neutral electrolyte. However, in several cases, zinc anode batteries involve shape changing during charging/discharging cycling test. As a result, shape changing effect to battery cycle to unstable state. Therefore, we think need any enhance method to improve unstable cycle ability. So, we add additives to improve this negative phenomenon in electrolyte. TPAH (Tetra Propyl Ammonium Hydroxide) can be protecting this negative problem in electrolyte.When we test charge/discharge cycling test, it was shown more stable cycle curve compare to normal alkali electrolyte. Also from zinc electrode FE-SEM images, we can be observed ground grains on surface. Morphology was very dense with these grains. Measurement machines were used by FE-SEM, Cycling test, XRD
