We have studied the photodissociation dynamics of 4ABN-(H2O)n and 4ABN-(CH3OH)n cluster cations by using the home-built linear tandem time-of-flight (TOF) mass spectrometer. When these cations of the clusters are selectively photodissociated by multi photons in the second stage, we can observe the size distribution of fragment ions. Also, we have studies spectroscopic properties of 4ABN-(H2O)n and 4ABN-(CH3OH)n cluster by employing laser-induced fluorescence and resonance-enhanced multiphoton ionization (REMPI) techniques. The (S1→S0) fluorescence excitation and REMPI spectra of 4ABN-(H2O)n and 4ABN-(CH3OH)n are presented. In addition, optimum structures of the clusters are suggested via theoretical calculations.
