Ryoji Noyori ACES Award

This biannual award is the highest honor given by the Asian Chemical Editorial Society (ACES) and recognizes outstanding work in chemistry. ACES & GDCh Symposium

The ACES partner societies and the German Chemical Society (GDCh) invite you to this top-tier symposium on December 10, 2019 in Taipei as part of the 18th Asian Chemical Congress (ACC). The symposium is designed to deepen relationships between chemists across Asia, Germany, and beyond. In addition to the award lecture by Martin Banwell, it will feature talks by Alois Fürstner, Xing Yi Ling, Xiaogang Liu, Kei Murakami, and Vivian W.-W. Yam. Full details are available here.

Early Career Advisory Boards

We are excited to announce that Chemistry-An Asian Journal, the Asian Journal of Organic Chemistry, and ChemNanoMat are expanding their advisory boards to include early career researchers. Starting in 2020, these new members will work closely with our editorial teams and share their insights into the issues important to researchers at the start of their independent careers. Preprints

With the addition of the Chinese Chemical Society (CCS) and the Chemical Society of Japan (CSJ) to the list of co-owners, ChemRxiv has become a truly global initiative. The ACES journals are pleased to consider papers initially shared as preprints, and it is possible to directly transfer manuscripts from ChemRxiv to our submission systems. Society News

In March, the Chemical Society of Japan (CSJ) will hold its 100th national meeting. This important occasion will be attended by Chemistry-An Asian Journal Deputy Editor Heiko Kuhn and commemorated with a joint special collection of papers from top researchers in Japan in the ACES journals.
