Novel disulfide dopamine -derivative compound was prepared in five steps, resulted in preparation of disulfide dopamine compound in quantitative yield. This material was characterized using conventional spectroscopic methods such as FT-IR and 1H NMR, 13C NMR and mass.
Dopamine is a catecholamine neurotransmitter that occurs in a wide variety of animals, including both vertebrates and invertebrates. Dopamine can be supplied as a medication that acts on the sympathetic nervous system, producing effects such as increased heart rate and blood pressure [1, 2]. In this study, we describe synthesis and characterization of disulfide Dopamine derivative (Scheme 1) as a new di amine compound.
