The 17th ACC at Melbourne (23-28 July 2017) will be an exciting, unprecedented opportunity for chemists to network with world leaders in chemistry, and to hear about the latest, increasingly boundary spanning chemical research. The congress will be held in the beautiful, cosmopolitan, and multicultural city of Melbourne in parallel with eight other international congresses that span all aspects of chemistry. These congresses, which are part of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute’s centenary year celebration, will attract 3500 of the best chemistry researchers and academics. The 17ACC will provide an excellent opportunity for Asian chemists to strengthen current networks and to establish new collaborative links within Asian, Oceania, and the rest of the world.

The 17th Asian Chemical Congress [ACC] Organising Committee invites authors to submit abstracts for presentation within the technical program. Submissions are sought for oral and poster presentations and can be made via the 17ACC Presenters’ Portal which can be accessed via the website. The portal lists the areas of chemistry covered by 17ACC and the themes addressed in each area.

17ACC is part of a much larger congress program partnering 8 other established specialist international meetings covering the whole range of chemical sciences, these are:-

  • RACI National Centenary Conference [General Chemistry]
  • Carbon 2017 (The World Carbon Conference [Materials chemistry]),
  • Chemeca (Industrial chemistry / Chemical engineering),
  • AIMECS17 (The AMFC Conference [Medicinal Chemistry]),
  • ACCC6 (The Asian Conference on Coordination Chemistry [Inorganic Chemistry]),
  • GSC8 (Green and Sustainable Chemistry)
  • Elsevier's Tetrahedron - an Asian seminar. [Organic chemistry]
  • AHeDD [e-drug discovery[ medicinal chemistry]]

As a partner meeting, 17ACC delegates have the opportunity to attend all events under one registration in other words you pay one registration fee and can attend any of the partner meeting programs.

If your field is better covered by one of the partner meetings you may submit your abstracts directly to any of the specialty conferences. Further information can be found at

Sponsorship & Exhibition Opportunities

An exciting range of partner conference opportunities has been developed to ensure a successful outcome for all sponsors and stakeholders. The Sponsorship & Exhibition Prospectus is now available on the Congress website and we are looking for partners from different industry sectors who wish to secure an exclusive ‘industry partner’ opportunity. We are also happy to tailor packages not currently available in the prospectus.

In addition to this, a major element of the Congress will be the exhibition. The daily Congress program will be structured to give participants maximum opportunity to visit the exhibition.

Take advantage of the opportunity for your organisation to be represented as a key partner or exhibitor at the RACI Centenary Congress today.
