ACC, FACS Invitation KCS members to contribute to the special collection at Chemistry – An Asian Journal celebrating the 75th anniversary of the KCS
Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Korean Chemical Society
Dear KCS Members,
Chemistry – An Asian Journal is helping to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Korean Chemical Society (KCS) by publishing a special collection highlighting the best chemistry research across the country. It is my pleasure to invite you to submit your best work to this collection! Submissions will be considered until 31 October 2021.
We welcome submissions from across the Korean chemistry research community, including researchers who have a personal or professional connection to Korea but do not live or work there. Please help us spread the word and encourage your colleagues to submit as well.
Chemistry – An Asian Journal and the KCS have close ties. The KCS is a partner in the Asian Chemical Editorial Society (ACES) and, as such, co-owns the journal. With this special collection, we honor our partnership with the KCS and celebrate the history of the society and the important role it plays in the exchange of ideas among chemical scientists and the promotion of their research activities. Furthermore, the KCS earns royalties for each paper from Korea that is published in an ACES journal, giving it more money to invest in supporting the local chemical community.
To contribute, please submit a Communication, Full Paper or Review article on any aspect of chemistry to this upcoming special collection. The journal submission site can be found here: www.editorialmanager.com/asia, please select "KCS Anniversary Special Collection" as the section/category when you submit. For more information on manuscript preparation, please see our Author Guidelines. Articles will be published in regular issues of the journal as soon as possible and collated into a dedicated section on the journal’s website.
Please note that all submissions will be subject to the rigorous peer review process adopted by the journal and that only those papers that meet these criteria can be accepted. Authors of high-quality work that narrowly misses the standard for Chemistry – An Asian Journal may be offered the option to have their paper considered at the other ACES journals, ChemNanoMat or Asian Journal of Organic Chemistry, or in the Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society.
With best regards,
Dr. Theresa Kueckmann
