Abstract |
Highly functionalized N-heterocyclic glycosides are particularly attractive due to their biological activities. Herein, we wish to report chemoselective synthesis of highly functionalized N-heterocyclic glycosides by ruthenium catalyzed olefin isomerization of cyclic allylic N-glycosides. Various N-heterocyclic glycosides were prepared with conservation of the chiral information of the labile N,O-acetal bond. The synthetic utility was demonstrated by preparation of various deoxyribonucleosides. |
