The Graduate School of Nanoscience and Technology is a recently established department in the College of Natural Sciences at KAIST, specializing in the interdisciplinary research in the area where physics, chemistry, biology, materials science, and engineering come together. In particular, we are interested in the following 3 areas of nanoscience research: Bio-photonics, including imaging, sensing, and manipulation; Fabrication/synthesis/characterization of nanomaterials and structures; and theoretical/computational nanoscience research. However, qualified applications will be given equal consideration regardless of the proposed field of research.
Applicants must have a Ph.D., and some post-doctoral research experience is desirable. However, candidates from all fields, nationality, and ethnicity will be considered equally, and are encouraged to apply.
