On the occasion of the 18th general meeting of the Asian Chemical Conference (ACC) and 20th general assembly of the Federation of the Asian Chemical Societies (FACS), Chemistry – An Asian Journal set up a Special Issue featuring papers by the plenary, keynote and invited speakers at this event. This Special Issue is guest-edited by the congress chairperson, Professor Reuben Jih-Ru Hwu (National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan).

Chemistry – An Asian Journal: The First Asian Conference on Porphyrins, Phthalocyanines and Related Materials

The First Asian Conference on Porphyrins, Phthalocyanines and Related Materials (ACPP-1) was held successfully at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing between 23-26 August. Chemistry – An Asian Journal was involved in giving out three awards: two Wiley-ACES Excellent Young Professor awards (Prof. Jianfeng Li 李剑峰, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Prof. Junlong Zhang 张俊龙, Peking University) and one Wiley-ACES Rising Star award (Dr. Qizhao Li 李其兆, East China University of Science and Technology).
